Hello to all who read this. Just alittle progress report in regarding me since I havn't been writting much of these journals or been on DA lately. I have been extremely busy with school,my first year of applied Photography at Sheridan college. That is a massive reason whyI havn't been posting new work, but believe me im gathering alot of new work. Even though it hasn't been long in my program, only about a quater way in now of my first year,I have gain so much knowledge and continuing to do so it's incredable. Finally learning the bussiness by some amazing photographers who push us farther than we could ever imagine. So stay tuned and hopefully I will start making time to post my work throughout my stay in Sheridan college. Thank you all for the support this far.

I am very excited Lately I recently bought a lighting kit which includes 2 125 watts per second monoblock flash's,2 light stands, 2 convertable umbrellas, snoot, barn door, colour gells and all that fun stuff! I also bought a wireless transmitter to limit the cords and with that i can connect a smaal speed flash with a pc and run off as kicker light or a hair light my snoot fits over it aswell so thats cool! So i got alot of playing around coming up so keep your eyes open i love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!

So it’s been awhile since I wrote a journal! Nothing much has been going on just taking photo's learning many things etc. Yesterday was a good day though I received 2 things in the mail. A thank you letter from newly wed couple that wrote me a thank you card thanking me for being their photographer for their wedding last summer so that was nice to received. Then I received my remote flash triggers (ebay triggers) which at first completely sucked and thought here we go haha, but all was needed was to charge the batteries I was using, now it works amazing definitely worth 26 dollars. That’s about it, I'm also leaving for a week to Manitoulin island with my gf and her bro, sis and dad going to blast her dad making a few stops for me to take photos, really nice guy!! When I come back I'm going to take promos for a band so plenty to come keep watching I appreciate all the comments and favs I've have gotten and don't be scared to critique any of my work.

So as the title says this has been a very eventfull week and it's not over yet! For starters I placed second in the regionals skills Canada which I lost 1st because i used edited photos in a contact sheet we had to present so lost a few points their o well live and learn. then tonight I recieved my 2nd place award for the KPL photocontest for people and honerable mention in architecture so all in all so far a great week thus far.

So now im getting the ball rolling with my wedding photography. I'm taking it more seriously and trying to make a part time business out of it. I bassically got all my fine tune details worked out such as my prices, portfolio, suppliers/printing and how im going to present the product to my future clients, which will be a wedding album book I design for them and have it printed. More included just thats the main album idea. So I ordered a sample Album that I created which hopefully will arive at the latest tuesday so I can get intrested couple to arange a time were we can meet and go through everything see if they want to hire me to be their wedding photographer or not. Now I see there a few hurtles that im sure await me. One being my age im fairly young which most people might get thrown off. Hopefully this won't play to much of a factor against me because it can be kinda a mind set to get an older photographer cause they may have more experince which I feel I do have. I feel now its down to how they like my work hopefully that is how it will partially play out. Second obsicale is I don't drive yet so that is somthing I got to take into consideration and thirdly I havn't seen the quality of the albums yet which if a flop I will have to arrange everything again which wouldn't be to fun. Sooo Hopefully every thing will continue to go smoothly and nothing will really change and I can arange a meeting with the first couplelater this week!!!
